Poetry is more than just words on paper, it is a profound and artistic way to express our emotions and experiences as people. We believe that as women, it is so important to tell our stories and share our experiences with others. Poetry is the perfect avenue to do so! That is why last week we teamed up with the wonderful Genesis Blu to host our very first Own Every Piece Poetry Slam!
Each poet was able to tell a story and bring it to life with their creative expressions. It was so amazing hearing each woman perform as they captivated us with their words. Own Every Piece loves focusing on giving women a platform to share to the world, and that is exactly what our dope line up of women did. Check out the full event below!
