Flashback to two Fridays ago and imagine yourself in a room full of empowering women, listening to spins from one of the hottest DJs in Houston, getting all your hot girl summer needs while sipping on a sweet snow cone! Yep, those were the vibes at our Waxxed, Vaxxed, and Ready event on May 28th!
Own Every Piece had the opportunity to give women in Houston FREE Plan B and FREE vaccination shots at TruCare Pharmacy. The event took place at TruCare Pharmacy, located at 2000 Crawford Street. Our partner clinic was a great host for this event by not only providing a cool space but also providing kind, open, and down-to-earth staff that were ready to embrace and educate our attendees!
We had over 30 women show up and show out at our event! All the vaccinated women were able to walk away with a FREE $25 gift card to European Wax Center, and everyone made sure to collect their Just in Case Kits stuffed with Plan B. Many attendees also took to our confessional booth and shared their empowering birth control stories with us.
DJ Supastar was on the 1’s and 2’s, keeping the vibe just right the entire time. We also had Husky Snow providing us with refreshing sweet snow cones and jambalaya. All in all, it was a fun, embracing, and hot girl event! We were pleased to meet many of our new followers and influencers for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.
